Female Guppy With Hump

Fish TB quite often show's with pop eye as well, but the thing is, this is not a simple to just say what it is.

It looks like a growth on the back, a curved spine would make the tail drop more that it currently is.

I'm not sure what it but but it dont look like old age as the fish looks quite young.

I don't know much about fish diseases but my first thought was she is getting older. About how old is she? Tokis may have it right though and she may have TB. You can try isolating her and keeping an eye on her for a while to see if other symptoms show up.

I'm not sure if it's TB or not... usually the fish are really, really distorted. (example) Maybe isolate her for a while and she how she's doing.

I'd definately isolate her and watch for other symptoms. It could just be the way she is or something else. It's hard to tell. Just watch her for a while. It would be a shame to put her down

I just looked at my guppy who has had many sets of fry throughout her life and it seems she has one too. It could be from the constant strain of pushing those babies out. They arch their backs so much it could just be from that. At least, that's my guess.

im just keeping an eye on it and with pics if it gets any worse i will let you know but she feeds well and very active, do you think it could be she is pregnant and it is a large number of babies causing it

I have to disagree, i've been breeding guppys for years and even in the most pregnant of guppys i have had, none has ever shown a spine like that and turned out to be healthy- she doesn't look like she has a massive amount of fry in her. The spine clearly looks distorted to me, it really isn't natural or healthy to be like that.
If it makes you feel better, you can keep her alive, but the longer you keep her, the more distorted the spine will become. It you choose to keep her, i would strongly advise isolating her in a different tank away from the other fish to help prevent her passing on anything towards them.
I will try and get you a pic of one of my mature female guppys who is hevaily pregnant as you will then see that your guppys bent spine is not a result of pregnancy or old age.
