Recently we found out we were overfeeding our fish (thanks to some helpful people here :) ).

Now, we've started feeding them a little less, but they still seem so hungry and we're worried about a couple of the Cardinals who never go to the top to feed.

Should we feed them a little in the morning, and a little more at night?? Or is one feeding a day better?? I know some people go by the "two minute" rule, would this apply to each feeding, or does it apply per day??

Also... should we buy sinking pellets so the more stealthy Cardinals get some food at the bottom too?? One of our LFS told us the pellets were hard for the fish to eat - as in too crunchy.

So far all the fish seem happy and healthy, we just want to make sure we're doing things right.

i have this stuff its perfect or used to be for my tank. since my cichlid got agressive during feeding some of the other fish never got any food when i gave them flakes. if you get frozen bloodworms or anything that will breakup into little peices in the aquarium then all your fish will get a bite. i got whole waterfleas those do the trick also but Hikari Brime shrimp works best for me. heres a link to show you what it looks like Click Here

personally i think as long as each fish gets atleast a mouthful then your fine. i would also judge by the two minutes rule.

the 2 minute rule goes for each feeding doesn't it?
