Feeding vegetables

Ive been boiling zucchini for my fish lately. The Tiger Barbs , Gouramis, and Bala Sharks seem to like it really well. The Cichlids on the other hand dont really have much to do with it. The Blue Zebras will nibble on it a tad, but thats about it. How long should I leave the zucchini peices in the tank? Im also getting snails soon, do I leave it in for the same amount of time or for longer so they can get ahold of it?

Theres no real harm in leaving it in the tank overnight or until its eaten however it may cloud up your water a little if you do, but that will soon clear if you've got a good filter

Just read about the snails, the best thing for them is put it in at night just after you turn the lights off they'll munch happily at night while the fish are dozing.

Snails can become almost nocturnal when kept in a fish tank because they don't like getting their antennae's nipped!! :

Too true, there must be about 10 - 15 snails within my tank and I don't think I've ever seen them out, not even once during the day. If you have any Loaches, especially the Clown's, they'll munch through them like butter.
