Feeding shrimp cucumber

You should remove uneaten food after a few hours because it decomposes and starts to produce ammonia. If you leave cucumber or any other fruit or vegetable in the water for a few days, it will rot and produce ammonia.

I have left a leaf of spinach in my tank for a while now... Should I remove it? There are only pest snails in the tank...
 
Wouldn’t washing it good get rid of contaminants? I sure hope so! Been feeding fresh fruits & vegetables to my parrots for decades. And to myself as well.
It depends if the cucumber was washed or not, though. I peel or wash all fruit and veg but a lot of people don't.

The only snails are Assassins. Not the types to invite for a party hahahaha.
Bring the assassins!! All the snails: "AHHHH EVERYONE EVACUATE!! They invited us over for their dinner not ours!!"
