Feeding Malawis

my couson has a 5 ft tank with just malawis in and he feeds them bits of chiken does anybody else feed them strange foods ?

I feed mine crumpled up bit of dog food about three times a week. They go crazy over it and it makes their color noticably more brilliant. Also doesnt seem to change water stats or cloud water.

No I don't and they aren't supposed to eat that either

Be very careful...Malawis get "bloat" easily if fed improper diets.
