Feeding Cucumber

i brought a screwcumber but i still like to use a chop stick and pierce the cucumber onto it ,, it does a great job ,,

I push a couple of bits of gravel into a thick slice and blanch with boiling water for a few seconds before letting it cool. Once the bristlenose has eaten through most of it it floats to the surface and the remains can be picked out before it can decompose

I boil a slice for 2 mins in a cup of water in the microwave to soften it after taking skin off.

I usually use either a butter knife or plant weights..

..both work well..

If you leave it to float more fish seem to want to pick at it, but don't let it decompose, this can cause serious water stat effects.

I just attach the cucumber slice to one of the rocks in my tank with a rubberband. Works perfectly!
