I have bought cyclops for the first time to try it out, an they seem to be very minute.
Would they be minute enough to feed to ram fry when they become free swimming, or will they be ok for a bit later?
From personal exp I'd go with an infusia culture as high in protein which baby rams need lots of as they are very hard to raise and if don't get enough just die , then move on to baby brine shrimp and banana worms ,
but good luck if going for breeding rams as they arnt easy atal lol not like most other dwarf cichlids

Fortunately the LFS has just started stocking bags of live BBS with its live food.
Mmm... my tubifex culture is doing very badly, might as well replace it with banana worms...

Well... the choice was mainly because I had a couple of pairs...
Not the most difficult though, and anyway, I have your keyholes to fall back on
Thanks for the info on the infusoria Peter. Is it that simple? Anything else I would need to do?
depends if its fresh water rotifera then yes but if its salt water one then no avoid it .... but fresh water rotifera are a freshwater plankton and usual occur in most tanks just not in higher amounts to be noticeable as usualy live in the substrateHow about rotifera? Are those any good?
Ok, I'll give infusoria a go, just one last (stupid) question: can you actually see them or you have to suck up some water hoping they'll be there?
