I am currently scheming on one idea to make water changes easier in the DIY section....

BUT, I was just wondering if there was anybody in the states who I could pay through paypal the amount for a 50 foot python vacuum and the cost to ship it to the UK?

I have found places where they are not too expensive in the states, but nowhere that will ship to the UK.... :S

I might even just buy one off amazon (no, they won't deliver on eitehr) get it shipped to an address in the US, and just pay someone the cost of sending it over to me?

I suppose I would be putting fair amount of trust in this person, but is there anyone who might be willing to do this?

Otherwise, is there anybody from UK going over to US for a short trip?

Thanks for the link... but it would be fairly similar to the DIY idea I was mentioning, in that I would still then need to get a pump as the hose would be running down from the tank, along the floor, and then up into the basin.

Am I mistaken in thinking that the python is used for both removing and adding water in a tank regardless of where the outlet is, and without the need for a pump?

Even the python itself may not be the ideal for me, as I need to adjust ph on water for some tanks prior to putting in the tank (I am aware that fish can cope with ph changes, but would rather try and get ph similar prior to adding)

Hmmm, what to do.....

Hi chrismr,Aquatics Online UK,have Pythons advertised on their site.I have just been looking at them.

Oh... thanks! I order things from them all the time. Guess that makes life easier if I defo go for one.

Still considering my DIY option though. It would allow me to treat water prior to pumping it into the tank, and would make it easier to get temperature correct too.
