Somewhere else, as I am banned...
It seems that the porcupinefish has recovered from his recent sulk and decided he likes mussels, to the point of not letting anyone else in the tank get any. Considering the last time I fed I had to have my hand in so long holding a piece of muscle for the porky that my finger was bit by either an eel or the trigger, I am most pleased.

The result of the feeding was:

The trigger was hanging around

And appears less than impressed that most food the trigger is going to get will have been "sampled"...

Looking good!

Well, the whole tank ate well tonight, and everyone came out to say hi.

The tang seems to like the extra room of the tank as it is set up now (the Tunze wavebox has gone and the rock is all pushed back into the corners and back edge)

The tang does like to follow the trigger around a lot. There doesn't seem to be any aggression, though I am unsure how much the trigger appreciates the attention.

At one point the porky appeared quite shocked at something:

And when one pans out the only noticeable thing is that the trigger is eating food and the porky is not.

And we know that the porky was eating, because that's his favourite past time:

However, it would seem the white ribbon eel was sampling anything in case it was food:

And he is getting a nice size now. I'm not sure how much longer will be attained, but in theory something like another foot is possible:

Finally, the snowflake eel has shown some real growth, consider his first pictures:

To him now:

Fatty is so cool. I think it will be puffer fish that finally make me go marine.

I keep seeing them in the shops and i go all Little Britain... I Want That One!

I may buy a puffer one day, but for now I am happy with the fish I have, especially the porcupinefish.

I thought it was a puffer

I want a porcupinefish instead now :p

In general chatting it will often be referred to as a puffer, but on a taxonomical level it is placed in Family Diodontidae (Porcupinefish and Burrfish) whereas puffers are in Family Tetraodontidae (Pufferfish and Tobies). It is made more confusing because both "puff up" but they are in different families (with one of the main defining differences being the former appears to have two teeth, the latter four, hence the family names). You will, however, never see an ichthyology text book refer to members of Family Diodontidae as puffers.

Amazing tank m8. Never seen a white ribbon eelbut it looks a lot less reclusive than other eels and looks amazing with it. Porky is amazing too. I think if i did ever go back to marine now it would be something like this, think my 90gal is a bit small for now tho

The ribbon eel looks great, i remember when he was just a baby.
