Fat or pregnant fish?

Hi I have no idea how to tell if my fish are female or male but is this fish just getting fat or pregnant?

Its male. you can tell by the anal fin. Males are pointed and females look famed out. Females also have a gravid spot

It could also be a female with the anal fin tucked up. The OP will need to watch the fish and see if the anal fin flares out and looks like a fan or triangle shape. If it does then it's a female. If the anal fin is actually long and thin then its a male.
