Fact Or Fiction

The oldest goldfish known of was called Geoff and lived to the grand old age of 41?
Doh,didn't wait for arauras reply...
Oh well it stands if magus was correct....

Yeah he was right, But in addition to lungfish, some plecos and even loaches have fallen out of aquariums into moist areas and were missing for days, and found later, barely alive, but alive nontheless and they pulled through. Amazing stuff. Your go.

Snakehead fish can also live out of water. That's how they get from one body of water to another and why they pose such a threat.

ANd even in addition to that, Anabatoids, many african leaf fish can "walk" on land. Lol theres a lot.

And fiction, Goldfish live for at most 20 years? Lol I probably should say fact, because thats to darn specific to be fiction, but o well, I'll stick with fiction.

It is fiction...
The goldie DID live to 41, BUT his name was Fred (not geoff)....
:X
Outfoxed again.
Anyone?

Actually from what I understand it's fact. Some chinese alligators survived the winter in a frozen pond brought on by global warming, they were frozen and apparently flash frozen so that they recieved no internal damage from the ice crystals. AMazing really. You can go next. :flowers:

Interesting, did they live long afterwards?
Fact of fiction;
The only vertebrate parasite known to feed on people is actually from the cyprinid family?

Nope, fiction, its actually a catfish; the candiru from south america...
Ouch!
Anyway in the name of already having had too many goes, who got next, anyone?
