Expired?

Took the bottle back today, the owner of the store gave me a full refund and explained to me that the only difference with expired medication (in this sense) is that its like using 1/2-3/4 of a dose instead of a full dose
 
This is one of the reasons not to stock up on meds for the aquarium to keep at home but rather buy them when you need them (I know in your case it was expired in the shop but that's unusual).

Same thing happened to me, i bought Api melafix about 2 weeks ago and the expiration date is 10/2012
 
So, three days after treatment finishes, My girl still looks as bad as ever, and her tailfins are drooping significantly....
 
Did a 50% water change, hoping new water will help the sick girlie
 
Sounds like the expired stuff isn't as quality after all.
 
After the waater change they seem to be doing ok, but my girl is still sick....
