i bought some interpet flora boost and my plants have doubled in size in 4 weeks! i thought it might have been a load of tosh but its actually amazing stuff.

so if yu have a low tech,planted tank, give it a go!

sorry mate, just dumping some ferts into a low light tank is not going to have the amazing effects you claim.

if you increase ferts, you must also consider the other variables, light and Co2. then that leads you onto flow and filtration.

low tech is normally no co2 and ferts or some co2 and some ferts with lower light. you can just have aload of ferts and no co2 otherwise you can guess what is going to utilise all that excess nutrients. yup, you guessed it, algae.

Interpet flora boost isn't brilliant, it only has traces in it, the fact that your plants have doubled in an amount of time doesn't really probe anything, there shouldn't be a risk of algae in it as there is no ammonia compound in it.
