I was wondering what should I put in my tank?
(see signature for a picture of my tank)
Can I put Endlers Livebearer in there, but with what?

What should I add to my tank?
What are good tankmates with Endlers Livebearer

And
Why cant they go with guppies??

Tetra's go with guppys and all livebearers, harlequins, danios,no barbs as they are fin nippers,

Can't really see what fish you have in there at the moment, and I do not understand what size of tank "20H" is - I think you need to be a little more specific as to how many gallons or liters that is.

And
Why cant they go with guppies??
Endlers livebearers, while very similar to wild guppies, are believed to be a different species. These two species will interbreed quite readily and therefore should not be kept together.

For more info you can search this forum or google for masses of information :)

It's got nothing in it, how many gallon is it, is just says 20h

ahhh - I could have sworn I can see a danio (at least one) in the pic of the tank.....

Forgot to ask earlier, is the tank cycled.

over on this side of The Pond, "20H" is a 20 gallon high. its actually a pretty common abbreviation in catalogs, LFS, etc (for the States anyways...)

its irresponsible to mix Endler's Livebearers and Guppies if FEMALES are present b/c resulting fry cannot be conclusively identified as purebreds or hybrids. if you have ONLY MALES, then sure. mix 'em.

any fry that are potentially Endler/Guppy hybrids should never be recirculated back into the population of Endler's. i personally think they should be destroyed. but they should definitely not be mixed back with Endler's because they'll dilute the species and result in further predation on natural population. what then happens is the problem of Lake Cichlids in Africa--there are more hybrids in people's aquariums than pure species in the lakes. continued capturing from the lakes to supply pure specimens for the aquarium has put many species on the endangered list. look, its just Bad Stuff, ok?

since Endler's are essentially just a subspecies of Guppy, pretty much all the same requirements and compatibility issues apply.

--EDIT--
what happened to all your other fish, metfan? i could've sworn you had some in there already...

that does look like a danio species.

platies would be good with them. Maybe the dwarfs if you have really small ones.

my tank is a 20 gallon high
there is nothing in there any more
yes the picture is old
there were male guppies, zebra lepaard blue gold danios, platy and platy fry
