Endlers And Cherry Shrimp

hey all!
i am setting up a new tank and i have been toying with the idea of havnin a tank of endlers with a few cherry shrimp in the bottom
would this work ok?
another idea is having a siamese fighting fish with a tank of endlers

if i were to do a species tank how many could i hold
my tank size is 6.6gal

5 male endlers and 10 female cherries would be good.

I keep 4 endlers and 6 amano/yamato shrimp in a 27 litre. I'll be adding a group of cherries to this soon (when LFS gets them in stock). Endlers are too small to eat the shrimp, shrimp happily scour for algae.
