Fish Fanatic
I have a batch of about 20 Tiger Endler Fry that are about 6-7 weeks old. They all seemed to grow at about the same rate until a couple of days ago. As adults, the males are only about a third the size of the females. On looking in the fry tank last night, I saw a huge baby swim past. I thought I was seeing things! Then it stopped right in front of me. It is definitely a male as I can see the pattern really coming in on its sides. But he is twice the size of all the other fry! Is it normal for males to grow so fast? Especially when they are so much smaller than the females as adults?
Can anyone out there help me figure this out?
