Ellioti, Geophagus, Severum Pics

Minx, I don't suppose you'd like a trip to warwickshire, could do with decent pics taken  My Ellioti from star4 are brill, gave them some bloodworm pellets last night, they went mad for it. Got some frozen on order. Great pics as usual, I'm gonner have to ask for help in the photography section, can't get a decent pic on my new camera yet.

 takes me forever to get half decent pics and then Im still not happy with them, cant work out the settings on my camera, plus I think the fish dont understand my rantings to stay still :shout:

The Ellioti will take pretty much anything but yes they will love some frozen bloodworm, try them on fresh prawn too, they adore it, Ive also found them to take cockle and mussel, I just hold the cubes in my hands and dunk them in, they along with all my other fish, nearly take my fingers off for it!!

Thanks for the tips. It's my first ever digital camera, not expensive and 9mp, so I dont know if it is up to the job. Plus I don't understand half the jargon for setting it up properly.

Just a word of warning with the bloodworm for the Ellioti, they may jump for it, those in the little tank are little devils and will come clear of the water to take it from my fingers. They do love prawn to, I usually strip out all the eggs from the whole prawns that get fed to the other cichlids and terrapins, they go wild for that. They have always had a very varied diet so not fussy eaters (hopefully!)

Minxy you must bring your camera to my house too next time lol
