Elite Heater Question

ok this is a ture beginner question lol but ive never payer attention to it before...

On Elite heaters...ive noticed the black ball on the top with the red arrow telling you which way is hotter and colder, what i want to know is, the while circles on the front which tell you the temperature..do they tell you the temp the heater is set at or the tem the water is?

Unless I'm missing something, they should tell you what temp the heater is set at.

hahaha im contemplating deleting that question!! i just realised i havent actually tried it...so i did and low and behold when i turn the black ball the temp changes.

My taxi has just arrived, thankyou and goodnight!

But incidently, don't use numbers from a heater to determine the heater setting - they are often wrong. Use a separate thermometer and adjust the heater up or down based on that.

and usually nice to put it across the tank from the heater, so you'll know the worst-case coldest corner in the winter...
