From reading tons of great information on here, I knew that when one of my mollie fry displayed symptoms of Shimmies to do a water change. Which I did and the symptoms stopped! I am also keeping an eye out for other symptoms as I know this can lead to other thiings...but...everything I find on Shimmies talks about there not being enough electrolytes in the water. I tested with my API and I read 0, 0, 20. ph is 6.8. 20 gallon with 2 adult Mollies and a few fry. No live plants though (still hesitant to try that as I do not have a green thumb). What causes low electrolytes and what else should I be keeping an eye out for? Thank you in advance for your time.

After I fed my fish this mornong I noticed the same Mollie doing the Shimmie movement again...but only for a quick moment. I had received no responses so I did some more digging. Turns out there has been one change in my aquarium the last few water changes and that is I had run out of salt so no salt added. This morning I read that the salt helps the fish process electrolytes. And being Mollies and having been used to it...I can see where I may have caused this issue. Will pick up some more salt today and see if things change. Does this reasoning make sense to you all?
