Electric Catfish In A 75 Gal?

can i put an electric catfish in a 75 gal. with a gar?

Yes and no, you can put the catfish in there (thats presuming its a normal 75 at 48x20x24" or there abouts) but you can't have any tankmates with it, they don't call them "electric" catfish for nothing you know. Besides all the true gar species (and most of the gar like Characins) will grow far too large for a 75.
