Ei - Mouldy Water

OK a couple of things.

My KNO3 solution has what looks like mould in it I need some more RO water which I hopefully will be able to get this weekend. Any ideas why I got mould? Contamination? Not keeping in dark cupboard?

Secondly, did anyone buy the potassium sulphate powder?? Anyone want to send me some? I'll pay P&P and for the powder too. Or if not, as discussed before...anyone want to go halves/thirds/quarters etc on it?

Yep sure I have some I can send you I bougth (I think) 3 kg from here - how much do you need ?
I haven't started dosing yet, but I probably have way more than I need in a long time anyway

Yep thats where I got my stuff from before. I wish I had got it back then now.

I don't know how much. I haven't looked at the calculator yet (have to get back to work in a bit) but I'd say 500g? PM me for how much you want to charge...

I can get potassium acid phosphate Lqu. in 100ml witch is 275mgs My "hearbs" love it!

500g or even a kilo is no probs. The couple of pounds it's worth is not worth bothering about (too bothersome to walk to a bank and deposit a cheque and paypal takes a large chunk of money for their fees) so no worries. I'll check exactly how much I have tonight and pm you

Ive no idea why the Kno3 is gone mouldy Sam, i havent heard of this before, i know the CSM+B plantex can go mouldy and some people keep it in the fridge (mind you i dont and havent had any problems with it) but my own kno3 solution i just store in subdued light but not darkness at room temprature, i dont think there is a requirement to store them in darkness or fridges or anything like that, must be contaminated with something but no idea what it could be.

Yeah, my KNO3 got mould in it too. There is no mould in my phosphate solution so it bafled me. All solutions were made up using the same water and are kept in the same conditions.
