Okay so after cleaning my eheim 2224 professional 250 i started it up again, got a large rattling noise coming out of it, ive tried rocking it gently, and then i lost my nut and booted a chair cause it just didnt work, the output has dropped considerably and no matter how i try to prime it the boise keeps coming, on thing i did notice it the impeller doesnt sit perfectly in the shaft its suppose to. It has space to shift about but im pretty sure the i
Peller guard holds it dead center in the middle so it wont knock against the sides... The impeller looks a little small to me. Its the only thing i can think of, ive only had it for a few months from brand new, anyone able to shed a little light on what might cause this rattle?

Can you take a good clear picture of the impeller? Might help to see it its damaged or if the housing is burred?

Yeah sure i think i can do that for tomorrow, its been decommissioned for now, the tank has plenty of other filtration and the media is all in an aerated buckek, might go moan ats some fish shop staff on the weekend until i get a new one!! Haha but if its just the impeller then it shouldnt be too bad.
