Eheim Filters

I need a new filter for my 50 ltr tank and have been looking at the Eheim Pick Up 2006 Internal Filter, has anyone used one of these before, and do you think its value for money?

Not sure about the eheim but the filter of choice i belive for 50L is Fluval U1 Underwater Filter 250LPH

No idea about eheim, have read some great reports, but the fluval u series is brilliant!!

The Eheim externals are excellent. I've never used an Eheim internal but I've never heard bad things about them. That being said all my internal filters are the Fluval '+' series (which I regard highly) and their successors (the 'U' series) have a good reputation.

Eheim make excellent filters, both external and internal, I'd recommend Fluval (internals not externals bar the FX5) also, depends on which you can get cheaper

I have the Eheim Pick and so far it's been brilliant

I have a pickup in my cory tank i used for breeding they still lay 100s of eggs and the shrimp in there are also breeding like mad and i only do a waterchange every 2 weeks in it, there brilliant filters.
