Eheim 2217 Wont Prime

i took one of my 2217s apart today to give it a good clean and it wont start back up.you know the thin white plasitic tube connected to the impeller is it ment to be in 2 pieces?or has mine snapped?
any help appreciated

yes, unfortunately, you have snapped the impellor shaft.
you need a new one asap
they are around a fiver for the shaft and £20 for the complete impellor with shaft

why would it snap just wear and tear?it aint even been running a year
where can i order one from?

i cant find anything called a impeller shaft on the list of spare parts for the 2217
