Eggs

Yesterday I was watching my snail crawl along on the bottom of the tank and I saw it drop a yellow clump. I was not sure what it was, so I took it out and have it in a bucket of water in case they really were eggs because I might want to raise some.

Anywho, what do you guys think it was, because I only had one snail. (I'm aware of the fact that they can reproduce asexually, that's why I asked this question).
