Editing Posts

Is there a time limit on this? I've done it before just after posting, but just tried on an older post and the option had gone.

There was a time limit introduced a while ago. It gives you a grace period and then locks it. It started when we had some trouble with people changing the wording in posts after people had replied, changing the context of the reply.
 
If there's something that needs editing after the lock then the mods can generally change things for you.

We all do dumb typos in some posts/threads so you're not the only one
 
As DrRob says, if there is anything that needs editing after this time limit, just let a mod know and we may change it if it needs changing

I have just returned to the forum and almost all of my photo links are broken
obviously I'm way past the threshold for editing the posts, can a mod help me?
