Easiest Plant To Grow But Not Java Moss

I've seen java moss and I think it looks very unattractive. What is the next easiest plant to grow? I have a 3g tank and i just want a small living plant for my betta to swim around.

Vallis looks quite nice, and Elodea is very easy to grow

Those two are a no no since my tank is too small for them? And also my tank doesn't get enough sunlight for those plants to flourish.

I've had good luck with cabomba in my 5 gal tank....I have 2.5/3 wpg and it grows like mad.....

Elodea may not grow fast but it should survive in most tanks including tanks without tube lighting We have some growing in a 15l Bi-Orb which has a horrible dim little Halogen bulb for lighting. If it gets too big all you have to do is nip it with your nails down to the length you desire and bin the rest

Anubias nana and java fern.

hornwort grows well but perhaps too fast sopmetimes. duckweed is always a good one for surfaces, and betta do like soem surface cover
