Dying?

Well, i bought a plant a while ago and it died but the other ones didn't, i bought the same plant again last night and its already dying!? I tested the water and everything is fine. Do you think its just this plant that doesn't like me?

Stem plants all (or seemingly anyway) melt when added to a new tank. If the stem remains green, the plant isn't dead at all, it is just acclimating to its new home. New leaves will show up shortly there after.

is this a stem plant?

it could be a number of plants ;p

java fern / anubias in the wrong conditions can rot
might not be true aquatic
might just be melt as you said

The bottom half is brown

It was brown a little bit at the start. Now its nearly taken over the plant!

Some plants are more high demand than others. Some will thrive in just about any conditions that you care to throw at them. Others only seem to grow when the light levels are right, fertilisers are used, CO2 is in the water and so on.

Knowing what kind of plant it is would help us determine what the cause might be.

I need to go out and buy a new usb-.- Its like 3 inches. Loads of leaves on it. and it has a small circle made up of leaves on top. That's what it looks like pretty much
