I'm considering getting a dwarf gourami for my (densely) planted 15g, but i have a decent current in it.

Thinking about their natural habitat in relatively still waters, will a DG get stressed with a good flow? As with any tank, there are patches of lesser flow, will it just end up staying put in quieter waters?

I can only speak for my particular DG, but he seemed to thrive well in either type of water. I did notice though, when I removed the bubbler to better suit my plants... my DG started immediately taking plants to the surface and start attempting a bubble nest. He used to be the king of the entire tank with the higher water flow. Very territorial of everything. But without the surface disruption, he is now the king of the corner of the tank. He still goes everywhere in the tank, but he especially patrols that quiet corner in my 20gallon long.

Awesome. Will definitely consider getting one in the new year for my 15g. :hey:
