Dwarf Cockatoo Cichlid

Not sure at all, all's I know is I bought them as a pair from my LFS.

Either way no aggression shown to one another.

James.

A female should be grey going into yellow and shouldn't have the red fins/tail. They seem to be both males, shouldn't be aggressive, unless you enter a female into the tank or territory issues but other than that, should be fine.

Aslong as they aren't gunna kill each other im not bothered what they are! :)

James.

well my pair of "super reds" were £16 (plus postage and packaging) which seemed fair.

Just a warning though, I purchased my "super reds" from Kesgrave tropicals on ebay, and they aren't even remotely red, i'll be arguing for my money back in the near future

Yours are doubles and I can safely say that kesgrave sells only doubles, he doesn't have supers :good: he's also a pain to get refunds out of grrr

Well he's taken his listing of super reds down. As soon as i noticed this I contacted ebay and got them to make him give my money back. Didn't get the postage back but got the £16 for the fish back. So yeah, he effectively tried to screw me.

And james, you either have a very impressive female in breeding colours, or a fantastic juvi male.

Not much he could refuse when forced with trading standards threats. I don't take being ripped off kindly.

And congrats on winning the bid!!! :good: Can't wait to see your new fish!

And i'll check your golds out in a moment Matty!

And to top it all off I should be collecting 1m 3f super reds from a breeder tomorrow.

Cockatoo's for everyone!

Ste has some good cacatuoides for sale, the males he breeds and sells are fantastic. The cacatuoide in my avatar (bruce), is one of ste's

Bruce is a stunner :good:

What is he, full double red??

Yup just ya average double red, I look after my boy, he gets special treatment. Mainly because he will eat from a pair of tweezers, up at the top of the tank (i do that, as the rasboros are quick as thieves and tend to take all the food!) He gets a blood worm once every 3 days, although, I did put 5 river shrimp in a week ago and they've all gone, so Bruce may not get his blood worm this week

He's got another male and 4 females going in today, so we'll see how it goes.

How big's the tank?? As I have plans for picking up another male and 3 females today (making 2m 4f) for my 36"x12"x15" (which has 5 caves and is quite well planted)

And my Sidley gets frozen artemia or bloodworm every day  still trying to get him to take it from my hand though. No doubt in my mind that the corydora's would if they could swim upside down.

...Ok i'm not happy.

Phone the guy today to check if i can go collect the super reds.

He's upped the prices.

It was £16 a pair. He's now decided it's £30 a pair!! Absolutely retarded pricing! Argh.. So angry at that!

I can afford a pair, but I wanted to have 2m 4f. Now with 2m 2f i suspect a chance of bullying.

Seriously, £30 a pair. Retarded.
