Ok, my dry ferts have just arrived. I just want to double check my figures before i mix it up.

I have a 35 litre tank and i plan to dose 2ml daily from both bottles. Therefore i will make it in batches of 60ml to last roughly 4 weeks.

My calculations tell me to make a mix of;

Potassium Nitrate: 5 grams
Potassium Phosphate: 0.7 grams
Potassium Sulphate: 5 grams

Plus a seperate bottle (60ml);

Trace elements: 3 grams

Can someone please confirm if this should achieve the figures required?

Also, i still have around 200ml of Easylife Profito left, can that be used instead of the trace elements if need be?

Thanks :good:

Are you running CO2 on this tank? At the minute, you are dosing:

0.5ppm PO4
3ppm NO3
2ppm K (you dont really need the KH2SO4)

trace, i would raise to 4g

I dose 2ml easycarbo daily, or at least i will once my replacement light arrives (it's 1ml currently). I will raise the trace to 4g, no problem thanks. Do you think i should take the KH2S04 (Sulphate?) out of the mix?

seeing as though you have bought it, you might aswell add it, it wont do any harm its just that there is enough K dosed with the KNO3 & KH2PO4.

If you are running CO2 on this setup, I would advise doubling the amount of powders you add to the solution. (except trace which can stay at 4g). If you arent, then the numbers yo have now are fine :good:

Thanks for the advice, although i am a little confused. Do you mean running a Co2 system as in pressurised Co2 or does dosing easycarbo count? I don't have pressurised Co2 at the moment but i am looking into getting it eventually.

So should i stay with the original measurements if i am only dosing easycarbo or double it?

Cheers :good:

Easycarbo isnt as effective as gaseous CO2, so for now stay with the original measurments, and if any defficiencies show, double the dose.
