One of my male bettas has developed dropsy  He has pineconed and has been for two days now. I have tried internal meds on him with no improvement he has lost all his colour and isn't interested in any food!

Now what do I do should I try more internal meds and a salt bath or would it be kinder to put him out of his misery with some clove oil? what are the chances of his survival?

Any help is appreciated!!

Dropsy is hard to treat and it is often too late once symptoms show. What meds have you tried? I have success with the Interpet med before :good:

Only you can make to judgement as to when it is time to let him go I'm afraid. Clove oil is one of the best methods if it comes to that :good:

Best of luck to you
