Drips On Front Of Glass?

Does anyone have a very occasional drip down the front of there tank?

Sat looking at it, every couple of days I get a single run of water down from behind the facia at the top which goes down to the stand. This happened with my old tank (an aqua one tank) and also occurs with my fluval tank.

Is this common?

I get that with my Juwel tanks too, sometimes condensation just builds up and instead of dripping into the tank finds somewhere else to run off, its annoying sometimes, the tank needs to be perfectly level which is almost impossible.

I get that with all tanks where the lid overhangs onto the outside of the tank (which is not many of my tanks, nowadays).

if its a fluval roma then this is a common fault with them im affraid. the plastic trim around the top is obviously not sealed so water evaporates and builds up as condensation within the black trim and drips down the front of the glass so annoying and i wont be buying another fluval again

the only way around it is to empty the tank and completely dry it out. then seal the top yourself on the inside using aquarium silicone. wait for it to be 100% dry then fill with water, fish and decor. not a great thing to have to do when its already stocked and running

You could always use aquarium gold I think. Its a silicon that cures underwater! So no need to empty the tank!
