he 4" long and im 100% positive he has white spot, how do you treat it?
what brand of med can i use that is common in the us? (like in petco?)
also, please give me basic care tips so he can live for a long time.

Your going to have to use meds (I am unsure of which are available in the US but someone will be able to help) however usually the use of meds will result in a bump in your filter. You will need to treat all of your main tank which is not really a problem with him as the only inhabitant, on a plus side though dojo loaches are generally very very hardy to the point they are considered an invasive species in some countries.

What size tank is he in, ideally you should have him in a 4 foot tank at least? And an idea for when your tank has been treated and re cycled would be to add an other dojo or two for them to hang with they like to be in groups. I used to have a big 9 inch blind one poor thing had its eyes pecked out in the store so I had to take him home he was very very active all the time.
