Hello there,

I just finished cycling my 5 gallon tank, which I want to stock with shrimp and snails. Before I add them in I want to carpet the tank, but I can't do that for a week or two. I was wondering if in the mean time I could use the tank to quarantine two African dwarf frogs that I want to buy and then add to my 10 gallon? Does this sound like an ok idea?

I  don't  see why not.  Tank is cycled and the frogs will help keep the good bacteria count up.

Thanks for your reply! I don't know why I thought it would be a bad idea, I guess I just wanted to hear it from someone else.
