Hi all

does anyone want to start an acara club mimicing the oscar club?

it'll cool to see how many people appreciate acaras so does anyone want to help me make an acara club?

since they are never available in stores many people don't owe one, so u will have a club of like 10 people only, what i have seen though are green terrors they are way more popular and are more aggressive too

that may be the case in the states but here in england they are easy to come by. im a big fan of blue acaras and im lucky enough to have a w/c specemin . i think they are fantastic fish. il start the ball rolling im an acara fan and heres my blue acara . would be good to see more people postin blue acara pics you dont get too many .

Yeah they are hard to find in the states. I had to order mine online. The club should not just be blue acaras but also other fish that fall into this genus. like port acara, smileing acara, Zebra Acara, Golden Dwarf Cichlid, yellow acara, to name a few.

or Aequidens, Bujurquina, Cleithracara, Guianacara, Laetacara, Krobia, Nannacara and Tahuantinsuyoa. True Acaras are made up of species that remain under the genus Aequidens, while Acara-related species include the other, previously mentioned, genera.
