thanks...if you look at a root under a microscope you can see the little hairs, its the same with spiders...its what give them the ability to climb up walls and hang from ceilings.
I hate to be the one to point out when someone is obviously in error, but I have it on fairly good authority (namely, my wife) that spiders do not get the ability to climb up walls and hang from ceilings due to any magical, invisible "hairs" on their legs. Rather, the truth is that spiders can climb up walls and hang from ceilings because they are made of 100% pure evil.
I don't know, however, if the same applies to anubias as I don't actually have any anubias in my tank. BUT, I HAVE been thinking about getting some. So, in the interest of science, I'll tell you what, if I do get some, I'll show my wife and see how she reacts. Depending on the extent to which she freaks out, we should be able to get a pretty good read on the evil content of anubias and from there we should be able to extrapolate whether or not the power of evil is how they attach to wood or if it happens through some other method.
