Does Anyone Know An Lfs In The Midlands With A Good Plec Selection

as title says im looking for an L number thats not in any of my lfs. all the ones near me only stock common, bristlenose, candy stripe, snowball and gold nuggett. im looking for an L66 or L333 or similar just to look and see what they are like in real life instead of pics.

Not exactly sure but have you tried Wharf Aquatics? I've heard they do alot of different catfish. It is located near Mansfield. Where have you seen Snowball Plecs? I am thinking of adding one of these to my tank.

not tried wharf although i was there a few weeks ago looking for discus and didnt really look at anything else in detail..... the snowball plecs were at maidenhead in stapleton near leicester

i would like to see the types of L number actually in the flesh so i can make my mind up.... i dont know anyone who has any of the types im thinking of and the local lfs are limited.

You could try hollybush but I would phone first and see what they have in stock! Also I was recommended to try anglo scottish aquatics in wolverhampton/tettenhall! But again I would phone first!

Hi Truck, no mate ive literally just been around the lfs in Leicester with no luck.....

Maidenhead Derby have some golden nugget plecs (large spotted ones) and Shirley Aquatics usually have a nice range of plecs in

didnt really want this type as they can get a bit big

i want 1 or maybe 2 to go in a 30C planted tank with discus so im a little limited as i dont want my plants chewing up....
i really like from what ive seen the L66 and L333 or even zebra plec along with a few others. i can get hold of L66 and L333 but would like to see them before i choose a new tank mate

Do you have an upper price limit? Depending on species they can get quite expensive! I hate paying a lot of money. £10 per fish was the most I've paid!
