piont that towards the top of the tank, and it creates
swells that makes bubbles
i do not use an air pump :good:

Is it possible to get bubbles out of filters? cheers.
Curious
i believe there are some "attachments" sold that will allow you to add air flow to the filter outlet. check go??le for the make of filter you have, and add the word attachments or accessory's

I think it will depend on the filter itself but Juwel have an air defuser that can be attached to their internal filters outlet pipe that sucks air from the surface and "blows" it into the tank.

I have just added a Ehiem air pump to my tank.

If you want bubbles that you can control, an air pump is the way to go. Air bubbles are for decoration in most tanks and filters are essential in almost all tanks. Some filters come with a diffuser that has an eductor built in to draw a bit of air from the surface and give a stream of bubbles in the water coming out of the filter. If that is all that you want, an eductor is a very simple device that will give it to you. If you want bubbles for an air stone or to operate decorations you need an air pump. A simple eductor will not give air in a form that can be used for your decorations.
