Do You Dream About Your Fish? Lol

Had the weirdest dream at the weekend...I dreamt that I woke up to find my aquarium had leaked and most of the fish were lying on their sides at bottom of the tank on top of the gravel, whilst my living room was a like a paddling pool. Then my fish suddenly began to fly! Yes, FLY, around the room and I was chasing and splashing around after them trying to catch them to put in a different tank.

LOL - anyone else had funny dreams or nightmares about their fish?

Hi weird you should ask! I did a big re-scape in my clown loach tank yesterday and dreamt last night that one of them had died Happy to say they are all swimming around just fine today

I guess we must have some little insecurities going on regarding our fish/tanks to make us have these strange dreams.

I wonder what flying fish symbolises...hmm, think I shall go have a little scour of the internet to see what comes up!

LOL really?? Well I guess I may have been feeling like that as I'd just done a 2 hr gig performance at a beer festival that evening!

I had quite a few dreams over the years that involve fish swimming about in the air!

Second that!

They always seem to be just escaping somhow from the top of the tank and even when I get them back underwater they dont want to sink.

Oh yes!!! I had one recently where I made a fish pie out of my fish!!! The fish were swimming around under the mash ewwwwwww. I've had loads of others but that one was disturbing.

My favourite one was that I was walking along the lane at the back of where my grandparents used to live, and there were dozens of tiny, multicoloured little fish flying in and out of the hedgerow, like birds.

And once I drempt I was keeping a clown triggerfish in my bedroom; not in a tank, just swimming round at ankle height!

I always dream that my fish swim free around my bedroom in the air, about waist height, nosing into things, getting stuck etc. And if I'm planning a change in decor or stocking I usually dream I'm shopping for bogwood etc, exciting(!)

Wow!! I thought it was just me having fish swimming/flying through the air. I was catching my blue gourami who kept escaping, from behind the curtains with a net, put him back in the tank and he kept getting out, then I saw all my other fish out aswell.

I thought I was going crazy this morning, but glad to know it's all normalish

Haha!! That's why I said normalish lol. But I'm glad it's not just me seeing flying fish.

It was very strange as I was expecting to see my gourami black as when he jumped out of the water he turned black, but he seemed perfectly happy flying around the room lol
