Hi

I have 125l juwel rio lights are 2 arcadia 28w t5s on 8 hours a day.

I dose once a day:
4ml TPN+
5ml Easycarbo

(will start injecting co2 this week when I get my canisters)

I do a water 50% change on a sat but will split this to 25% on wed and sun as I think 50% is swinging my stats to much!

Now I checked my water for phosphate and nitrate and my readings are from tap:
10ppm nitrate
20ppm phos

Now I understand Tropica Nutrition + contains Nitrate and Phos...Would I be better off using the NON Plus version and using up whats in my tap water?

Im asking this befor I buy a bottle thinking its going to reduce my algae troubles.

Many thanks

Carl

i presume you mean 2ppm of PO4 (not 20ppm!!)

I would stick with the TPN, 2ppm is plenty. NO3 could be a bit higher but see how it goes.

I agree with them.

Fair enough. I would be inclined to do the same. For the simple reason of trying to keep the carbon stable.
With pressurized CO2 I would do 50% a week.
Good luck.
