Do I Need Mts?

just turned over to sand few days ago and just wondering if MTS are needed for sand?

Not unless you particularly like them. It's easy enough to run your fingers through the sand to aerate it once in a while. With snails, the time will ususlly come where you are trying to figure out how to get rid of the excess.

LOL! I just had a look in my cherry shrimp tank and there was a MTS probally from moss i brought, so i put it in the tank with sand and it has already burried its self.
What were the chances of that!
