Do Dragon Fish get internal ick???

I just got this Dragon Fish aka Violet goby at a town pet store, and noticed about a day after I got it that it has ick looking spots on and in its gills and mouth. Do you think he has internal ick? The owner of the store said those spots are supposed to be there, that they are just pigment. But I've seen 2 or 3 spots elsewhere on his body too. He also has this wierd wart thing that is yellowish under his right jaw. I figured that was just a bug or something. Do you think so or is it a fungus?

I've got 2 of them and they don't have any spots at all on them. It sounds like yours have ich or a fungus. Are they very young ones or adults?
