well i removed one of my externals i put on my discus tank to mature it, onto another tank, and now seems ive got a mini cycle.

amm=1.0
no2=0.25
no3=5

ph=5.0-5.5 (this seems to have crashed a bt as well, this is the big problem were i stay, but ive acted on this and hope it will be back up a bit within the next couple of days.)


ot of all tanks to have this happen to it would be my discus tank, i hope theyll be ok

guess its just water changes!

my wild one wouldn't be but my pigeon blood probably would.

there ok, at the moment, ive caught it quickly so hopeflly theyll be ok, one isnt really itself but still ok at the moment.

you got a mini cycle because you removed a filter and that contained about half the filter bacteria. The other filter should develop more bacteria over the next few days. Until then reduce the feeding, do water changes and keep the PH low (below 7.0). If you have live plants in the tank then keep the lights on for longer so they can absorb more of the ammonia.
