Discus Project

I see it.

The piece on the right, lying on his back with his head toward us, right arm bent up, lifting left leg...

lol i can see it alittle haha.

Mark when are you adding your discus?

probably in a couple of weeks , i want to keep a close eye on the cardinals i have added to make sure they are fine , and be certain all water stats stay good as even tho i kept the filter fed with ammonia i have added a 2nd filter as well which was seeded, so i want to be certain there is no mini cycle. also i am not 100% happy with the planting so i can tinker with that as well. its frustrating because the money is sitting there for the discus and im itching to go and get them but i think that having waited this long already then why risk spoiling things through being impatient.

lol nope it will be 6 . over the coming week il be fine tuning the planting . was going to get the discus next weekend but now ive been roped into working all weekend , but the following weekend im gonna make sure i got time to go and get the wee fellas .

Mark how big is your tank?

are you going to add anything else with the fish that are nowalreay in there

what lighting do you have

Going to reduce the price of my red bellies now and go for it with mine I think. Going to even drain all the water andfinally move the big lump as its been in a place that annoys me for the last 2 yrs and paint the back and sides royal bluelike my marine tank. should make a good effect with the plants don;t you think

my last discus tank yrsago I paited black and it looked terrible and took ages nitromorzing off!!

hows the giant vallis doing?

the tank is 4x2x2 3x 38w t8 tubes . nope now the discus are in i wont be adding any more fish . the giant valis just went brown and died so i binned it .

yeah i agree i think blue background looks nice . its a good choice for the discus too .

I;m getting excited already ha ha how sad am I.

Can;t wait to see teh progress of yours.

do you have any idea why the giant vallis did that as I;ve always wanted to keep it

im not certain why it died off but i think it may have been down to the flourish excel. it seems that valis doesnt like liquid carbon products.
