Discus Fish

hi all

i have 4 baby dicus fish all about 1.5 - 1.8 inches

they have started to show faint colours off blue, yellow ect

just woundring how long will they take tp get they true full colour (well near full colour)

Where did you get them from? What sort of water are you using? RO i presume?

i have RO in there at the moment but the breeder i bought them off he gave me about 80 litres off RO water.

but i have not got a RO and was told not to get 1 as the conditioner will do the same trick

Conditioner does not and never will remove the mineral content of the water. It is designed to remove chlorine and most will also remove chloramines. Some also are designed to remove toxic metals but there are none that will remove mineral content like an RO does.
