Not often my fish are ill, so have little knowledge in fixing them.

Here is what i found in my discus tank today - no new fish, no changes, nothing to hurt themselves on. Everything is as normal. Water parameters are fine. What on earth is it? I'll treat with salt, but is there anything else i can do?!

looks like a very bad infection. Have you added any New spawn towers or somethin that had not been washed which could have been carryin somethin? Id personally just drop the temp slightly and do a 50 percent change and add a small amount of salt or Melafix if you have some

Normally increase the temp for healing discus though? I have added salt - will add melafix. Not added or changed anything! Its very strange!!

I'd increase the temperature a wee bit (not too much - Discus don't like massive sudden change in water) and put in some Melafix. Is he the runt of the Discus school? It may help explain the random infection (if that is what it is; cause it sure as hell looks like it).
