Discus And Angelfish

hi , I am planning a new fw palnted 55or 75g tank. Can I keep Discus and Angelfish together?

I have always read and heared against this because the angels have some sort of internal parasite that is with them all their life but does not effect them, however it can be passed to discus which would kill them. people have kept them both together but it is not advised for the health of the fish.

I too would also avoid angels with discus for the above reason.
I would instead go for festivums Mesonauta festivus as they are often found together in the Amazon

mmm, i would be careful with tthe festivum. i put in 2 angels with mine and it pretty much shredded their fins to nothing before i could even get the net out. And i would definately not want one doing that to a discus
