Disappearing Pleco!

Hey guys, about 5 hours ago, i put in 1 ancistrus pleco. An hour after i put him in the tank i looked for him for 15 mins and found him under a rock. Now i looked back in the place that i saw it last and it has completely disappeared!! Its probably gone under or behind my massive piece of bogwood!! lol Bit worried, but thats probably me just being nervous about my new fish tank and fish

dont worry i lost 1 for over a month but he turned up, i have 5 now and can somtimes go days without seeing them and the oldest "barry" is 4 in long

yeah my pleco likes to hide quite a bit too. its actually quite active now, but when it was younger it hid for days. id say its pretty normal!

More than likely clinging to the underside of the bogwood, One peice of advise with plecs...When ever you remove anything from the tank, always place in a bucket, just incase plecs clinging or hiding, have a check....Done it once, forgot to check, bristlenose stuck under sooo good, then fell on floor, lucky i caught a glimpse...

I'm not sure if it was the plec or one of my cory's, but i saw a flash of brown which looked to be quite long and thin (which cory's aren't lol) go behind my bogwood a minute ago!! Thanks again 4 the replies
