just asking... have you cycled ur tank? Have you adjusted him when u were introducing him to the tank? He might be stressed, cycling is VITALLY important to your fish- as in they will die without it. And adjusting them means when you get them in the bag, float it for half an hour in the water, then put a little water in the bag, and keep doing this for another half an hour, then let the fish go. This helps fish greatly, so that they aren't as stressed. About the fish, if you had a pic it would be great!!! PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE research your fish before you buy them... PLEASE! If you don't you might buy a fish that can't survive in freshwater, a fish that grows too big, a fish that will eat ur other fish, or a fish that needs to be in groups. I am telling you this to try and help you

BTW I'm 12 as well... If you want to get rid of a fish DO NOT flush it down the toilet, this doesn't kill it, just makes it go in digusting water until it dies. If your parents have problems with frozen foods, you shouldn't be keeping large fish, they like a wide, varied diet with live, frozen, freeze-dried, and flake foods. This means worms, shrimp, flakes, brown cubes in the freezer, and yucky smells

. And about the eating, he is probably stressed either cuz he's in a new home, you didn't cycle your tank, or you haen't adjusted him to the temp. he'll prbably eat again soon
